FRIENDS ANNUAL MEETING 2025

Business meeting: 10:00-10:30 AM
Guest speaker: 10:30 AM (open to the public!)
Where: The Meeting Room at the library

All members of the Friends of the Georgetown Peabody Library, please join us at the library for the Annual Meeting! At the business meeting, members have the opportunity to take part in important decisions and help shape the future of the Friends.

You will carry out these important responsibilities:

• Vote on whether to accept the Restated Articles of Organization
• Vote on whether to accept the Restated Bylaws
• Vote to elect the Friends Board of Directors for 2026

Immediately following the business meeting, our guest speaker—Library Director Sarah Cognata—will help you discover all you can do with your library card! From books and movies to digital resources, museum passes, and more—your Georgetown Peabody Library card opens the door to endless opportunities. Non-members are more than welcome for this speaking event!
