Georgetown Library Kids’ Summer Reading Challenge
June 16 – August 14
Birth – Going into grade 5
To participate sign up on the Beanstack app or Beanstack website on or after June 16. If you already have a Beanstack account, sign in and select the “Kids’ Summer Reading Challenge 2026.” Start logging in how many days you have read. Once you have registered, come to the Children’s Room to pick up a reading packet that includes trading cards starter pack, a reading log and stickers.
*If you do not want to use the Beanstack software to track your summer reading come into the Children’s Room to sign up.*

Keeping track of reading will earn:
- every 5 days = a trading card set (up to 8 different sets will be available this summer)
- 10 days = free book
- 20 days = 2nd free book
- If you are entering Kindergarten through 5th grade and have logged 20 days of reading you qualify for a Topsfield Fair package which includes 1 Admission Ticket (for readers 8 and over, children under 8 are admitted free) , 1 Hot Dog and Drink Voucher, and 2 Ride Tickets.
Take & Make Kits:
There will be no registration to reserve a take and make kit. The kits will be available first come, first serve each week at the library starting on Tuesday.
The Massachusetts Statewide Summer Library Program is funded by the Massachusetts Library System, the Boston Bruins, the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, the Friends of the Georgetown Peabody Library, the Topsfield Fair and the Georgetown Cultural Council.
