Teen Book Club with GYCC
In collaboration with the Georgetown Youth Community Center, we are holding a book club for teens monthly during the spring. Starting Wednesday, April 7th we will be meeting virtually to chat about interesting books for teens. Your Teen Librarian has chosen the first book, but at the end of each meeting we, as a group, will decide what the next book will be. For the first meeting we’ll be discussing Refugee by Alan Gratz. To get a copy from the library you can place it on hold on our website, or email hhart@georgetownpl.org.
Please register for this event at georgetownyouth.org. For other programs put on by the Georgetown Youth Community Center, check out their website georgetownyouth.org!
Cook Book Book Club for Teens
- For our first meeting we will be choosing recipes from “The new essentials cookbook: a modern guide to better cooking” by America’s Test Kitchen. Everyone will choose one recipe to try from the book.
- Please make your recipe sometime BEFORE the meeting so we can discuss how it went.
- If you want to show us how it turned out, please take a photo of your food or have it available to showcase during the meeting.
- You can pick up copies of the book via the curbside pick up at the library.
- Please contact your teen librarian either by email. (hhart@georgetownpl.org) or calling 978-352-5728 ext. 106 and give your library card number or your first and last name to request a copy.
- Registration is REQUIRED.
