Families are invited to the library to play and explore with toys and everyday materials. All ages are welcome, keep in mind there may be some small parts.
Love graphic novels? Never read one, but want to give it a try? Registration begins September 24. The next book will be announced soon. The book will be available to pick up in the children’s room. For students in 4 – 6 grade.

Join us for adventure with a session of Dungeons & Dragons at the library! This an ongoing campaign for teens in 7th -9th grade. This is a closed group that is currently full. Please contact Teen Librarian Savannah at sbarmore@georgetownpl.org if you would like to be added to the waitlist.
Join us for a night of tabletop gaming for the grown-ups! Bring your favorite game or come play one of ours. Never played something before? We’ll teach you or learn together! Hand warmers are a wonderful thing to have on hand (literally!) during the cold winter months. Using only a few supplies and using a basic hand stitch, you can hand sew and create your own hand warmers, perfectly sized to keep in your pockets!

Do you like graphic novels? Us too! Teens in 7th through 9th grade are invited to join a graphic novel book club. Snacks will be provided! For this meeting we'll be discussing Just Roll With It by Lee Durfey-Lavoie. Copies of the book will be available behind the circulation desk for check out.
Come and read to Lulu, a certified therapy dog. This program is designed to help develop reading skills and is recommended for children who want to practice their reading fluency.
