Teen Graphic Novel Book Club
Meeting RoomDo you like graphic novels? Us too! Teens in 7th through 9th grade are invited to join a graphic novel book club. Snacks will be provided! For this meeting we’ll be discussing “Dragon Hoops” by Gene Luen Yang. Copies are available behind the circulation desk for check out.
Clandestine Jazz Collective
Library LawnClandestine Jazz Collective is a group from the NH seacoast region comprised of Saxophonist Andrew Emanuel, Guitarist Keith Perry, Bassist Mikey Lathwood, and Drummer Chris Salemme. Fun With Sponges
Meeting RoomDrop in between 10:00 - 11:30. We will be exploring fun activities with sponges. Everyone will go home with a sponge kit (while supplies last) with more activities to do at home.
Pack a Snack Storytime
Library LawnBring a blanket and snack. We will read stories under a tree on the library lawn and then provide a fun outdoor activity. If the weather does not cooperate the story time will be held inside the library. This program is for all ages.
Take & Make kit
Mini Canvas Art (for all ages) Calling all artists! Come in and get your canvas and art supplies to take home and create your own masterpiece to display in the GPL mini art exhibit held the following week. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Georgetown Peabody Library.
Dungeons & Dragons
Meeting RoomJoin us for adventure with a session of Dungeons & Dragons at the library! This an ongoing campaign for teens in 7th -9th grade. This is a closed group that is currently full.
