Bring a blanket and snack. We will read stories under a tree on the library lawn and then provide a fun outdoor activity. If the weather does not cooperate the story time will be held inside the library. This program is for all ages.
Did you ever want to fly paper airplanes in the library? We will have materials and instructions to create a variety of paper planes and everyone will have a chance to see if they fly. Recommended for kids entering K through 6th grade. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Georgetown Peabody Library.
Sunprints (for all ages) Nature’s photography! Explore home and yard to find items to cast interesting shapes onto the photosensitive paper in the kit. Do you like graphic novels? Us too! Teens in 7th through 9th grade are invited to join a graphic novel book club. Snacks will be provided! For this meeting we’ll be discussing “Dragon Hoops” by Gene Luen Yang. Copies are available behind the circulation desk for check out.
