The Georgetown Historical Society invite you to their Annual Meeting where they will hold a brief business meeting at which the results of the election of officers and directors will be announced. Hear about the Society’s successes and challenges this past year as well as plans for the coming year. There will be refreshment and door prizes.

Rick Detwiller (GHS) will then talk about colonial taverns including the Dudley Tyler and Solomen Nelson taverns that operated in the 1700’s in what is now the Brocklebank Museum. Learn why the Nelson tavern was important in 1775.
