Food Drive Accepting Donations
January 29
GPL is partnering with Our Neighbors’ Table to bring much needed food and supplies to over 1500 families in the greater Merrimack Valley area!
Please drop off donations to the library during our open hours. Do not leave donations in the drop box or outside our front door (especially with the unpredictable winter weather).
Check the following list to see what is most in demand, per Our Neighbors’ Table:
Food: Family size snacks, boxes of individual snacks, popcorn, marshmallow fluff, jams, jellies, condiments, crackers, cereal, oatmeal (packets), dry beans and lentils, instant potatoes
Baking supplies: Flour, sugar, boxed mixes, frosting tubs, oils, spices, gluten free items
Baby supplies: Diapers (sizes 3, 4, 5), baby formula, wipes
Personal hygiene products: Adult diapers, tampons, menstrual pads, shampoo, body wash, hand soap, deodorant, dental floss, toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, razors
Household supplies: Laundry detergent, dish soap, paper towels
Canned items*: Vegetables, fruits, pie filling, canned meals (*please donate cans with pull-tab tops, as many families may not have access to a can opener).
We cannot accept expired, opened, used, or homemade items.
