The CFCE of the North Shore will be offering a Come and Play playgroup.
Come and Play is an engaging playgroup designed to support children’s growing curiosity and energy. Through fun, interactive activities, they can explore, learn, and develop essential social, motor, and cognitive skills. This playgroup provides a lively environment where children can explore the world around them, make new friends, and enjoy the excitement of early learning, all while parents and caregivers share in their developmental milestones. No registration is required.
TumbleBookLibrary is an online collection of e-books for children. They are a great way to encourage tech-savvy kids to enjoy reading!
It’s unlimited, and it’s FREE for you to use from home!
There are over 1200 animated, talking picture books! The site also features Spanish and French books, read-along chapter books, non-fiction books, and exciting games and puzzles!
Ribbit the frog will be hiding in the library July 1 through August 16. Every Monday Ribbit will move to a new location. Come into the library every week to find Ribbit and fill out a raffle ticket. All of the tickets will be entered into a drawing for a frog Squishmallow at the end of the summer. One raffle ticket per week.
Do you love to build? Families are invited to drop in between 3:00 and 4:30 on March 22 to build with LEGO’s and maybe other building materials. A new building challenge will be available every program, but you are free to build what you want.

Fairy tale characters and items will be hiding in the library February 20 -24 during library hours. Pick up a scavenger hunt checklist in the children’s room and start hunting.

Starting on February 2 through February 24, the Library will be collecting new pajamas from sizes 0-3 months through adult medium. Please do not give pajamas that include any family or holiday references. The drop box will be in the library lobby.
Cradles to Crayons®, the Boston Bruins, Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, and Wonderfund are coming together with organizations in your community to collect new pajamas for local children living in low-income and homeless situations.

The library will be offering a family story time on Saturdays once a month. The program will include 3 to 4 books, rhymes and songs, and a craft or activity. This program is for all ages.
