Afternoon Movie – Divergent (PG-13)

In a world divided by factions based on virtues, Tris learns she’s Divergent and won’t fit in. When she discovers a plot to destroy Divergents, Tris and the mysterious Four must find out what makes Divergents dangerous  before it’s too late.

Yoga for Teens

Join Dale Sampson as she teaches poses, breathing practices, and some meditation techniques to help you maneuver the stresses in your life!

Sign ups are required for the yoga session.

Teen Writing Workshop

erinAre you a young, aspiring writer? Looking for some tips on publishing, critiques on your work, or more? Join YA author Erin Bowman (author of the Taken trilogy) for a hour-long writing workshop! The workshop will take place at the library on Mon., Sept. 8 at 3 PM.

Attendees should bring their own writing tools (laptop, journal and pencil, etc), and arrive prepared to write!

 Workshop is open to registrants ages 13-22.  Registration is REQUIRED as space is limited!
