Beyond the Page: Unbound Book Creations by Dael Angelico-Hart

The Georgetown Peabody Library is pleased to host Beyond the Page: Unbound Book Creations by Dr. Dael Angelico-Hart for the months of May and June. This art exhibit will be showcased in our display cases upstairs.

An artist reception will take place upstairs near the display cases on Friday, May 16 from 3-5PM.

Artist Statement:

Dr. Dael Angelico-Hart lives in Groveland.  She was an elementary teacher, administrator and reading consultant for over 50 years.  But during this time, she always dabbled in many media (also receiving a Master’s Degree in Art Education) before focusing on altered books and unique books in many forms.  In addition to altered books, she builds birdhouses and castle sculptures out of books.  (She lives in an old library so this is very apropos!) She also creates one of a kind “cabinets of curiosities”.  She can be contacted at angelicohart@gmail.com.
