2120 South Michigan Avenue
August 21 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
2120 South Michigan Avenue is a 4-piece Massachusetts/NH-based band that plays Little Walter and Paul Butterfield inspired harmonica-infused Chicago Blues – and some favorite old-time Rock ‘n’ Roll tunes. They have a great time on stage, and their fun is your fun!
This concert will take place outside on the library lawn.
If the weather does not cooperate, the concert will be inside in the library’s Meeting Room.
Who’s who: Brian Cutler keeps time on drums (with passion). Allyn Dorr, aka Aldo, plays bass (with panache), and sings vocal harmony. On guitar, Tom Wright plays with a combination of power and sensitivity that will make you gasp and swoon. Bandleader Charlie Sawyer moans and wails on blues harp, delivers the goods on keys and vocals, and holds it all together with nuggets of blues history and humor at every performance.
