Paint a Pumpkin Contest

*Bring your own pumpkin*
Rather than carving jack-o’-lanterns this Halloween, break with tradition and paint your pumpkins instead. We will provide the paint, decorations, and various accessories to design your own Jack-o’-Lantern. The most creative design, as judged by staff members, will win a $25 gift certificate to www.amazon.com

Build a Graham Cracker House Program

The Georgetown Peabody Library will be hosting a “Build a Graham Cracker House” program for youth in grades 6 to 12 from 3 to 4:15 pm at the library. Materials will be provided!!!

Love Stinks Chocolate Fest!

Are you tired of all the sappy cards, poems and the movies that always seem to come out at this time of year?
You will be able to make anti-valentine days cards or crafts.
And what could be better than a blind taste test of the candy of the season.
Feel free to write the sappiest love poem you can think of but be expected to read it aloud or have someone else do so.

Tie Dye Party at the Library
The Georgetown Peabody Library we will be holding a Tie Dye Party so you can try making a tie-dye yourself.
Bring any of your old white 100% white cotton t-shirts or socks that you want to experiment with.
We will provide the dye and all the other materials. Please register in advance as there will only be enough material for 15 people!
May 20th, 2011 3- 4:30pm
Registration begins April 22nd and ends May 19th.
Bring your own t-shirt or whatever you want tie-dyed!
