The April book club will meet on Monday, April 13 from 7-8 pm. We will be discussing Wayfaring Stranger by James Lee Burke.
Here is a summary of the book:
Weldon Holland was born with a strong sense of right and wrong. Even as a teenager, he could not resist a confrontation with the legendary bandits Bonnie and Clyde. Ten years later, serving as an officer in World War II, he witnesses even more ultimate evil: In an abandoned death camp, he rescues Rosita, a Jewish victim of the Nazi terror who he would eventually marry. But it is back in America where he will be confronted by evil far more complicated and unexpected than what he had encountered before.
Copies of the book will be available behind the Main Desk. If you have any questions, please call the library (978-352-5728).
