Laura Franzone from Haverhill Community Action will present a fun, hands on program with activities that promote reading skills.
Parents will need to accompany children during this program – no drop offs.

Join Dr. Michael Cross, science professor at Northern Essex Community College, on Saturday, March 28 at 11:45 am as he presents which chemicals elicit biochemical reactions in the human brain, making chocolate the perfect drug.
Mike’s program includes why chocolate is good for you, which kinds are best, how much is healthy, how to taste for quality, and most importantly how to eat it!

The Friends of the Georgetown Peabody Library are hosting a “Books in Bloom” fundraising event on Saturday, March 21st, from 6:30 – 9:00 pm.
“Books in Bloom” features floral arrangements that represent books and other media available at the library. Local floral designers – amateur and professional – are welcome to participate. The displays will be placed throughout the library that evening for guests to admire. Many of the displays will be available for raffle.
Tickets are $20. Complimentary refreshments will be served.
