During the week of April 7-12, 2014, Massachusetts libraries will join others across the nation to provide a snapshot of what happens in a day in the life of libraries. How many books are checked out? How many people receive help finding a job? Doing their taxes? Doing their homework? During Snapshot Day, libraries will collect data and photos that can help demonstrate the value of libraries and raise public awareness that libraries are busier than ever.
On Friday, April 11, Georgetown Library will be participating in Library Snapshot Day. If you are in the library that day, be on the lookout for a librarian with a camera! If you have any questions, please visit: SnapMass for more information or contact the library. Stay tuned for more details!
