Anyone who is signed up for the kids summer reading program must report their hours by Tuesday, August 13 to be eligible for the Topsfield fair prizes. This can be done by logging in your hours online, calling the library, or coming into the library.
Today, Today, Today. Come down to the library today and see the Lego display by Patrick Connolly. The Town has a number of vehicles here this morning from 10-12:30. The Legos will be on display all day from 10-4.
We also have Legos to play with in the Children’s Program Room and a scavenger hunt!
Come celebrate the last week of the summer programs Tuesday August 6.
- Vehicles from the town departments (fire trucks, police cars, etc) will be at the library from 10:30 – 12.
- Lego and train display created by Patrick Connolly will be in the library from 10:30-4
- Legos will be available to create with in the Children’s room
- Explore the library with a scavenger hunt from 10:30 -4
The Georgetown Peabody Library has two jobs open.
A page works 4 hours a week helping to put books and other library items back on the shelves. This position is for a page to work in the Children’s Room.
The custodian works 8-10 hours per week. They are responsible for keeping the library clean. They also act as an evening supervisor for groups that have meetings in the library after 8pm.
Both job descriptions are available at the library. The positions are available starting August 5, 2013.
