Minute to Win It – Valentine’s Day Edition

Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2:30 – 3:30 PM

Come celebrate Valentine’s Day by testing your skills at Minute to Win It with a series of 60 second challenges. We’ll be using Valentine Day candies and materials for the challenges! Free snacks! Prizes! Fun for everyone!

Teen Afternoon Movie 

Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2:30 – 4:30 PM

Join us at the library to enjoy a screening of Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters (PG-13). Free snacks to be provided! Here’s a summary of the movie below:

In order to restore their dying safe haven, the son of Poseidon and his friends embark on a quest to the Sea of Monsters to find the mythical Golden Fleece while trying to stop an ancient evil from rising.

Family Lego Club

Friday, January 10th from 3-4:30

Come and see what you can build.  The library will supply a large amount of LEGOs and ideas of what can be created.  The LEGOs will stay in the library on display.   No registration is required.  In accordance with library policy parents are required to stay in the building in case of emergency.

Teen Programs in January

Drop-in Craft – Wed., January 15, 2:30 – 4 pm

Drop in at the library and we’ll provide the paper, tools, and instruction on how to make a fancy yet easy paper snowflake!

Registration is NOT required for this event, just drop by if you’re free! Please note, this event is open to those in grades 5 -12. 

Teen Afternoon Movie - Friday, Jan. 24, 2:30 – 4:30 pm

Are you a fan of The Mortal Instrument series?? Join us at the library to watch The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (PG-13) based on the first book in the series! Free snacks to be provided! Here’s a summary of the movie below:

When her mother disappears, Clary Fray learns that she descends from a line of warriors who protect our world from demons. She joins forces with others like her and heads into a dangerous alternate New York called Downworld.

Teen Afternoon Movie is a monthly movie program for teens to attend on Fridays! Is there a movie you would like us to show?? Write down your suggestion(s) and give it to Sarah, the Adult Librarian.
