Reiki is energy that is passed to you through the practitioner. It is a non-intrusive laying of hands, and it works on all levels – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Reiki is not just for physical ailments. Reiki can help lift your spirits and make you feel happier!
Join Reiki practitioner, Barbara Wyrocki, to learn what Reiki is all about! Barbara will conduct two sessions, Mon., April 27 at 7 pm and Sat., May 2 at 12 pm.
Registration is recommended for these sessions. Please call the library (978-352-5728) or come in to register.
This beautiful quilt hanging at the Georgetown Peabody Library is being raffled off! The blocks for the Library raffle quilt were made by 12 Georgetown and Boxford women . It was done as a thank you to the Library for letting them hang their quilts in the Library in Annual shows over the last three years. All proceeds from the raffle go directly to the Library for the support of programming and museum passes!
The raffle quilt will be displayed over the next year in the library or in various venues where raffle tickets can be sold. The raffle will take place in May 2016. One ticket is $1 and six tickets are $5. Tickets can be purchased at the Library now! Please go to the Main Desk to purchase tickets. If you have any questions, please call the library.
