Monday 6/29                  Alex the Jester   6:30 PM
For ages 3 to 103 years

Enter the world of the Wise Fool, and take an inspiring journey to Medieval times with Alex. He will bring daring stunts, mind-bending sight gags, dazzling visual spectacles, musical capers and physical feats! Sponsored by the Georgetown Cultural Council

Wednesday 7/8                Swords Through the Ages   6:30 PM
For ages 8 & up

Come to an amazing sword presentation by Jeff Goodhind and Jeff Lord from the Association for Renaissance and Medieval Swordsmanship.  They’ll demonstrate the art of Western European swordsmanship over the centuries.
If you dare, try your hand at sword (blunt) combat.

Wednesday 7/15               Building Bonanza  2:00 PM
For ages 3-8 years
Come and explore hands-on learning stations presented by Laura Franzone from Family & Community Connection.


Monday Night Madness

For students going into 3rd grade and up
Signups required. Signups begin June 30th.
Signup for just one program or all.

7/13   Origami   6:30-7:30
Learn the art of paper folding with Michael LaFosse.

 7/20 Search and Rescue Dog 6:30-7:30
Lieutenant Lee Prentiss from the Ipswich Fire Department will bring his search and rescue dog.

 7/27 Walk Along Glider 6:30-7:30
Learn how to build and fly your own walkalong glider… indoors!

 8/3  Super Hero Training Camp 6:30-7:30
Participate in activities fit for super heroes including building tall buildings, super rockets and secret codes.

 8/10 Bee Keeping   6:30-7:30
A bee keeper from Tomten Beeworks will bring an observation hive and equipment. Learn all about bee keeping.

Tuesday Morning Fun

For all ages.
Programs begin at 10:30

7/7    Craft   Drop in from 10:30-12
Create your own Superhero costume.

7/14 Fairy House/Gnome Home Craft  Drop in from 10:30-12
Build a home for the wee folk on the library lawn. If it is raining, an alternative craft will be provided indoors.

7/21 Peter Sheridan 10:30-11:30
Musician Peter Sheridan will entertain with his guitar, harmonica, special guests, and more. Caution: Dancing may break out during this program.

7/28  Bubble Day Drop in from 10:30-12
How big of a bubble can you make? Come to the library lawn and find out. If it is raining, an alternative craft will be provided indoors.

8/4 Vehicle Day  Drop in from 10:30-12
Vehicles from the town departments including fire trucks, police cars, and more.

8/11 Oceans of Fun 10:30-11:30
Come and explore hands-on learning stations presented by Laura Franzone from Family & Community Connection.


Wednesday Family Movie Nights

6:00 PM

Bring your own snacks, a pillow and blanket, and sit back to enjoy a movie on a large screen. The movie schedule will be available at the library or on the library web site soon.


Friday Morning
Pack-a-Snack Story Time

 10:30 for all ages
7/10 through 8/14

Bring a snack and a blanket. Come and sit back and enjoy some fun stories on the library lawn. If it is raining or too hot the program will be held inside the library.
