The Georgetown Library is partnering with Cradles to Crayons and the Boston Bruins to provide new pajamas
(sizes 4/5T – 18/20) for local children in need across the Commonwealth.  You can make a difference by bringing in new pajamas to Georgetown Peabody Library between February 1 –28th, 2015.

February 24  Tuesday:
10:00 – 10:30   BOUNCING BOOKS AND BABIES
Ages 8 months to 2 1/2
Program will include two to three books, songs, finger-plays, and circle games.

11:00-11:30   GOSLING GATHERING
Ages 2 to 3
Three to four books will be read. Children and parents will also participate in songs, finger-plays, and a simple craft.

1:30-2:10  PRESCHOOL STORY TIME
Ages 4 to 5
Program will include stories and a simple craft. Caregivers’ attendance is optional; however they are required to stay in the building per library policy.

February 25 Wednesday:
4:00-5:00  MAGICAL MATH
Ages 4 to 7
Laura Franzone from Haverhill Community Action will present a fun, hands on S.T.E.M(Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) program all about math! Parents will need to accompany children during this program – no drop offs.
Registration is required.

February 27   Friday:
10:30 – 11:00  FAMILY FUN
All ages
Three to four books will be read. Children and parents will also participate in songs, finger-plays, and a simple craft.

3:30-4:30  READERS THEATER
Children in grades 3-5
Come join us at the library as we put together a performance in just an hour!  Using the picture book of the month, we’ll run through a script, make some quick props, then stage the show for any willing parents.  Registration is essential!  Register by February 25th.

MARCH

March 2  Monday:
4:00- 4:45 BIG KID STORY TIME
Grade Kindergarten through 2nd grade
Join us for stories, jokes, riddles, and crafts. Caregivers’ attendance is optional; however they are required to stay in the building per library policy. Registration is required.

March 3 Tuesday:

Come and see what you can build.  The library will supply a large amount of LEGOs and ideas of what can be created.  The LEGOs will stay in the library on display.   No registration is required.  In accordance with library policy parents are required to stay in the building in case of emergency.
