Come to the library on Monday, June 23 between 2:30 – 4 pm to make your own ice cream sundae and sign up for summer reading! Those who sign up will be able to pick a prize and enter a contest to win more! You’ll also be able to get the teen summer reading program schedule. This kickoff event is for teens ONLY.
Teen summer reading sign-ups are for those entering grades 7 – 12.

Love hula hooping?? Katie from Pinto Bella Hoops will be at the library on Wed., April 23 at 3 pm to give a teaching demonstration on how to hula hoop! Everyone will play with the different types and sizes of hoops where Katie will either teach basic hooping or give challenges and tricks to more experienced hoopers.
Everyone will then get together for a couple group games that teach teamwork and creativity with the hoop and then the program will end with a surprise! Don’t miss out!
PLEASE NOTE: This program is for those in grades 4 and up. The presentation itself is best for mid elementary school through high school.

The Georgetown Library will be showing Frozen (PG) twice in April! The first screening is on April 16 at 2:30pm and is for teens only in grades 6 -12. The second screening is on April 25 at 2pm and all ages are welcome! Below is a summary of the movie:

Cookie Decorating – Wed., December 18, 2013

Get in the holiday spirit by decorating sugar cookies at the library that you can bring home or eat here! The library will provide the sugar cookies and icing along with other items such as sprinkles to dress up our cookies.

Come to the library and decorate a pumpkin! You’ll have a choice to paint or glitter your pumpkin. We will provide the paint, glitter, and various accessories to design your pumpkin. Registration is required and begins October 7. Please call or come into the library to sign up.
